The Mammoth was not only the biggest land mammal, it is also the biggest Auction & Sale of bonsai trees and pots around.The Mammoth is at the Lakeside Garden Center at Lake Merritt in Oakland on February 21 and 22. The Auction will feature 106 items bonsai, pots, and suiseki stones. The Sale will have more pots and trees than we have had in years thanks, in part, to the generous donations of Lonnie McCormick.

We will be honoring a number of individuals and Clubs that have been instrumental in establishing and growing the Garden since we opened 1999 and even before. A dozen bonsai organizations will be displaying bonsai and literature about their organization and activities. We will also have 20 vendors selling everything you will need participate in bonsai. Review the list of Auction items on our website and make your plans to join us on Saturday, February 21 at noon for the in-person preview and bid on your favorites during the Auction. Then gear up to join the crowd that takes part in the huge sale of bonsai and pots that begins at 10:00 AM on Sunday, February 22.
