Brief Description
Monterey pine (Pinus radiata) Donated by Larry Ragle to honor Katsumi Kinoshita Collected and styled by Kinoshita who gave it to Larry Ragle who in turn donated it to this collection at its 10th Anniversary celebration. Monterey pine occurs naturally only in four stands north and south of Monterey Bay and on an offshore island. However, it has been planted extensively, and it reproduces naturally in the Bay Area.
