Brief Description
Ponderosa pine (Pinus ponderosa) Donated by Dan Robinson. Collected in Glenrock, Wyoming, 1995. Outstanding, heavily ridged bark is 1-1/2 in. thick in some places. Based on a count of annual rings on lower dead branch (jin), tree dates from 1900 or earlier.
