Brief Description
Japanese black pine (kuro-matsu in Japanese) (Pinus thunbergiana) Donated by Yasuo Mitsuya, 66 Aza Owaki, Owaki-Machi, Toyohashi City, Aichi Pref., Japan. Mitsuya-San was sensei of Kathy Shaner, Dennis Makishima, Cheryl Manning, and Boon Manakitivipart. Tree started approximately 1955 was imported from Japan under special entry permit, February 2000.
